A martingale lead is a specialized leash designed for showing dogs. It features a unique design where the collar tightens slightly when the dog pulls,  the leash slides through the loop, tightening slightly around the neck, helping maintain control without the discomfort of a choke chain collar.

Custom made slip style braided show dog leads come in the standard colour range, with an optional bead cluster set added. The photos in Bead & Lead Gallery will give you some ideas of colours, patterns and beads.

Bead Choices

Choose 1 or 2 bead sets you like from the Bead Set Sample photos and the main colours you want, we'll mock up 3-4 similar options and send photos for you to choose from.

Our selection is constantly changing, and we like to make each lead unique.

Beads are mostly a combination of Metal, Acrylic and Resin. These are more robust and economical than glass.
